Ms Eves was my English teacher at Smithsburg Middle School in 2000. Everyone has a teacher that they will remember for the rest of their lives, Ms Eves is that teacher. She didn’t just read from the book, she didn’t just do enough to get my class to pass. Ms Eves let us think, and made us think outside the box about everything we discussed, read, wrote and shaped our minds for our benefit. We didn’t know it at the time, but she changed all of us. She is amazing at what she does. I consider myself blessed, fortunate, and one of the lucky ones to have been able to learn from a teacher of this caliber.
